Tammy Thornton

Born and raised in Michigan, I left home at 19 to join the U.S. Air Force, which brought me to Ohio — a place I’ve proudly called home ever since. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, I served as a police officer for six years until an on-duty injury changed my path. That turn led me to the insurance industry, where I’ve spent the last 15 years — 14 as an insurance agent and now as a sales coach. Coaching has become my true passion, as I love helping and encouraging agents to reach their full potential.

 

In 2010, I was invited to Medway Church, and my walk with Jesus has transformed my life ever since. Through mission trips to places like Haiti, Arizona, and Kentucky, and through serving on the prayer team and leading small groups, I’ve found purpose in sharing God’s love and serving others.

 

Outside of work and ministry, I enjoy an active lifestyle — lifting weights during the week, hiking or walking on weekends, and diving into the Bible or inspirational books. I cherish time with my girlfriend at worship concerts, traveling with my family, and relaxing by the beach — my happy place. Married for 18 years, I’m blessed with a wonderful family that includes my stepdaughter, daughter, and granddaughter.
